Dive into the role of an Industrial Equipment Specialist—responsible for diagnosing, fixing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyor belts. You'll handle both AC/DC electrical systems, interpret schematics, and utilize testing tools like Volt-Ohm meters and amp meters. Familiarity with industrial motor control and PLCs is key.

Utilizing our computerized maintenance management system, you'll document work and manage parts inventories. With a comprehensive understanding of equipment, from lathes and mills to welders and cutting torches, you'll ensure safety is your priority.

As part of a multi-craft maintenance team, you'll collaborate on intertwined electrical and mechanical repairs. Not extensively experienced? Explore our entry-level positions—a hands-on skills test awaits before in-person interviews.

Working with us opens doors to career opportunities within PepsiCo, boasting industry-leading pay and unmatched benefits. Embrace a culture of growth, with health, dental, vision plans, a 401(k) with company contributions, and generous vacation days.

Expect daily variations in tasks based on needs. The work environment can be loud and expansive. While temperature control is limited, adaptability is key.

  • Do you thrive with high-voltage wiring and multi-craft repairs?

    • Mentoring entry-level mechanics on complex repairs
    • Handling equipment failures under pressure
    • Quickly addressing equipment malfunctions
    • Inspecting and developing comprehensive repair strategies
    • Your professional expertise will guide identifying and solving issues efficiently.

Essential Criteria: 18+ years of age, weekend and holiday availability, ability to lift 15-50 pounds, and comfort in dynamic work conditions are required.

Preferred Qualifications: A related degree or 3 years in industrial maintenance will make you stand out.

Our leadership values:

  • Service Excellence: interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • Adaptability: smoothly navigate shifting priorities.
  • Independence: excel in unsupervised scenarios.
  • Safety: uphold safety standards daily.

Ready to join forces in addressing maintenance challenges? Downtime paves the way for dynamic solutions and rewarding results, according to our seasoned specialists.
