Job title: Marine Superintendent – LPG

With a pioneering approach to LPG dual-fuel propulsion and one of the largest VLGCs and MGCs in operation, this organisation is shaping the future of gas shipping and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking maritime team.

What will you be doing?

As Marine Superintendent, you will support day-to-day marine operations for LPG vessels in the US and Caribbean, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient performance. Your responsibilities include:

• Coordinating marine operations and inspections with local authorities, partners, and port agents.
• Leading and supporting SIRE, CDI, and USCG inspections while ensuring compliance with CFR and local regulations.
• Conducting internal audits, onboard training, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Collaborating closely with global teams in Singapore and Oslo on marine, technical, and operational matters.
• Driving continuous improvement through active involvement in quality management systems and safety campaigns

Are you the ideal candidate?

• Minimum 3 years of sailing experience as a senior deck officer on gas tankers. Chief Officer or Master Mariner CoC
• Shore base experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (USCG, CFR, ISM, SIRE, CDI).
• Able to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cross-cultural awareness.
• Must hold the right to work in the United States.
